If you’re planning to travel through Quito International Airport in the coming months, take note of scheduled runway maintenance closures. To ensure safety and efficiency, air operations will be suspended on select Saturdays
Closure Dates 2025:
• April 5 & 12
• May 10, 17 & 31
• June 7, 14, 21 & 28
• September 6, 13 & 20
Closure TImes: 02:00 – 14:00
These maintenance works are scheduled on Saturdays, the least busy travel days, to minimize disruption. No closures are planned for July and August to avoid impacting the peak summer season.
