We scheduled two day-hikes through Original Ecuador during our recent trip to Quito and had a very positive experience. Both guides were highly professional and well organized, and we felt like we were in good hands. It was really nice to stretch ourselves a bit and really experience the beauty of the Andes. We had a couple weeks in Ecuador and used these folks to plan the trip out for us. We did a couple days out of Quito, went to the Amazon, back to Quito, then out to the Galapagos. All the suggested tours were great. We went to Mindo and Cotopaxi while in Quito. Our local guide, Jorge, was with us all of our time in Quito and was super helpful and knowledgable. Our travel to the Amazon and Galapagos were well done and the providers were exactly what we hoped for.

Our guide arrived promptly and introduced himself and our days events. Sebastian was a wealth of information on Ecuador present and past. He excitedly introduced The artist Guyasamin and shared many insights. The lunch he brought us to was fantastic. Finally we explored the botanic gardens where he shared more insights on plants birds and the park. We felt well taken care of. Driving in Quito is best left to experts. Sebastian was a delight to meet and an excellent ambassador to this special country.

It was just a wonderful trip!!!! The weather didn't cooperate as much as we'd like but we made the best of it and still did all the hikes. Andres was a fantastic guide!!!
Also we loved the overnight accommodations and food. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!!

After 25 years of searching and 5 visits to the Amazon I have succeeded. I found an anaconda in the Ecuadorian jungle. A super nice experience, extraordinary guides who managed to realize the dream I had of seeing an anaconda. The lodge was incredible, super well kept and the people were super friendly.
