Located in the Andes mountains, the Devil's Nose Train (Nariz del Diablo) is one of Ecuador's most iconic attractions and a must-do experience for travellers exploring the Avenue of the Volcanoes.

A Journey Through History and Engineering

The Nariz del Diablo was the greatest engineering challenge in building Ecuador's Trans-Andean Railway in the early 20th century. To conquer the sheer cliffs of the Devil's Nose mountain, engineers designed a daring zigzag rail line that climbs and descends more than 500 meters in just 12 kilometers.

Today, passengers still experience this thrilling ride through dramatic landscapes, spectacular Andean views, and living history.
