Itinerary
Today we travel north to the Mitad del Mundo. This is where the equator line crosses Ecuador – have your photo taken with one foot in the northern hemisphere and one foot in the southern hemisphere!
At the Inti Ñan Museum, take part in some of the quirky experiments on offer – watch how the water runs in different directions in the northern and southern hemisphere and balance an egg on a pin head. Great photo opportunities.
We can make a stop off to enjoy the views at the nearby Pululahua Crater – an active volcano which is inhabited and farmed due to its rich soils. The views of the clouds rolling across this green and lush crater are captivating.
